Is winchester ammunition okay for my glock 17?

i just bought a new glock 17 9mm , and the only amo i can find is remington 9mm luger, is this okay to use in my gun for the shooting range? i am just going to shoot about 150 rounds today. also, it comes with the fatory lubricant already on it, must I lube it before the first time out?
